Total Transformation
The goal was to create a modern, low maintenance environment with plenty of room to entertain.
The challenge was taking an outdated free form boulder pool and implementing the lines of modern design. While the pool still maintains its original free form shape, the raised wall and cantilevered deck do a great job of interrupting those curves with bold, straight modern lines. The flagstone was replaced with Leuder limestone and the decking replaced with perpendicular lines of colored concrete which continue to modernize the space. A kitchen/bar area complete with shuttered roof and sleek modern firepit added the finishing touches to this modernized project.
